2013 Patio Pools built the largest Pebble Tec surface in Southern AZ at 11,327 square foot of internal area and is the largest body of water in Pima County with 246,540 gallons of water. This project was also awarded a gold medal in the prestigious APSP International Awards of Excellence.

1978 The company grew to build a record 817 projects in 1978. Also in the 70’s, five retail stores were opened to meet the growing needs of local pool and spa owners.

Gene Ragel Jr. bought the business and changed the company’s direction to custom pools in Tucson, AZ built to extremely high quality standards and offered at affordable prices. Within only one year Patio became Southern Arizona’s largest custom spa and pool builder.
